The deal hunters have spoken – and we’ve been paying attention. Amazon Prime Day 2025 is officially live, running from July 8 to 14. That’s a full seven days (yes, the longest Prime Day ever down under) for shoppers to snap up serious bargains.
If you’ve written it off as just another sale, you might want to think again. This mid-year event is when savvy shoppers tick off their wishlist items, refresh their homes for less and stock up on winter essentials (all while the prices are at their best).
And while it’s easy to get swept up in the hype, the smartest shoppers know the real wins come from going in prepared.
Here at Better Homes and Gardens, we’ve spent years covering Prime Day and other major sales. So when we say we’ve been digging through deal-hunting forums, tracking live price drops and filtering out the fluff, we mean it. This isn’t just another “here’s what’s on sale” list – it’s your insider’s guide to Prime Day 2025, packed with real-time deals, smart picks, expert insights and the hidden gems most people will miss.
In fact, with top products selling out so quickly, we’re updating our picks as often as twice a day to make sure you’re seeing the deals that are actually still in stock.
Whether you’re ready to finally invest in a robot vacuum, hunting for an electric blanket to make winter nights cosier, or just want to know which deals are actually worth the hype (spoiler: not all of them), we’ve got you covered.

Our Amazon Prime Day pre-sale checklist
Amazon Prime Day is one of the store’s biggest sales of the year, which also means some of the best deals won’t last long. So if you’ve got your eye on a few things, here’s how to make the most of the sale.
Before July 8th
- Create an Amazon Wishlist: Browse and search through millions of items on Amazon and add all your must-haves to an Amazon Wishlist. You can do this easily once you’re logged in, by clicking on “Add to Wish List” when you’re on a product page (it’s usually a button or text after the “Add to Cart” and “Buy Now” buttons.
- Turn on your deals notifications so you know exactly when they go on sale.
- Add items to your Amazon cart: You can also start adding all your items to cart so you can instantly checkout as soon as the sale kicks off.
- Check your Prime membership is active, or start a 30-day free trial if you’re not already a member. After the trial, you’ll pay $9.99 per month, or save 34 per cent with an annual membership at $79. Members also get access to Prime Video, Prime Music and Prime Reading. You can also cancel at any time through your Amazon account – just don’t cancel before you’ve finished shopping for Prime Day deals.
During the sale (July 8-14)
- Check this article daily for new drops – fresh deals are expected throughout the week.
- Monitor Lightning Deals on the Amazon site hourly – these sell out fast.
- Compare prices. Not every “Prime Day deal” is actually the best price.
After the sale (from July 14)
- Log into your Amazon account to track deliveries.
- Check out other Amazon Prime member benefits. If you’re not sold on it, you can always cancel your membership before the trial ends to avoid paying for it.
- Consider leaving reviews for what you’ve bought – these are always helpful when other people might be on the fence about an item.
