Every year, countless numbers of greyhounds become available for adoption once their racing careers are done and dusted. Tonight, Dr Harry revisits a story about an organisation close to his heart, the Greyhound Adoption Program. Back then, Dr Harry discovered how the GAP’s foster families help re-train and assimilate these retired canine athletes into becoming wonderful family pets and find caring, loving permanent homes. Now two years later, he finds out what happened to Gemma, a lovely dog who was going through the adoption process.
