Ashley Beeby loves writing and literature and excelled at school. So, it was a big surprise to her friends and family when she decided not to become a doctor or lawyer, but to take the path of a trailblazing lady tradie. After 18 months working on heavy vehicles at a Queensland coal mine, she’s now closer to home in Melbourne – but still working on excavators and large trucks.
