A brand new season of My Kitchen Rules is heating up on Channel 7 in 2025, and they’ll be serving up more than just food. We’ll be welcomed into real people’s homes with unforgettable flavours, authentic stories, and of course, plenty of drama.
The competition this year is fierce, with six teams ready to face off and win the title of MKR champion and $100,000. But it won’t be easy. Judges Colin Fassnidge and Manu Feildel have the bar set high and expect to see flavours that are at the heart of home cooking.
“Cooking continues to evolve – in households across Australia and around the world,” Manu said. “This year’s MKR contestants bring new recipes, fresh ingredients and innovative tactics and techniques. We’re in for a very interesting season around the dinner table.”
Colin added, “There are many different personalities at the table, all firing at 110%. Also upping the ante this year, we have some controversial dishes, one in particular that will divide the table and the nation.”

When will My Kitchen Rules 2025 start?
My Kitchen Rules will premiere on Seven and 7plus at 7:30pm on Monday 1 September.

Who hosted My Kitchen Rules?
Judges and co-hosts Colin Fassnidge and Manu Feildel are returning to MKR 2025 and they’re ready to taste and critique the dishes each team serves up.
Do MKR contestants use their own home?
Yes, the teams use their own homes for the filming of the ‘Instant Restaurant’ rounds, where each of them will host and cook their chosen 3-course menu for the judges and fellow teams. However, if their homes aren’t appropriate for filming, e.g too small or a difficult location, the production team will find another option, whether renting a house or using a friend’s or family member’s home.
What is the prize of MKR 2025?
The team that wins My Kitchen Rules 2025 will gain the title which is a massive accomplishment in itself, as well as a huge cash prize of $100,000.

The Italian duo Simone and Viviana won My Kitchen Rules in 2024. They were crowned the champions in November 2024, defeating mother and son duo Caz and Fergus in the finale.
